Venkat is on to his next directorial venture with a movie titled Saroja by Amma Creations. It will have Vega a Mumbai Model doing the central character of Saroja around whom the movie revolves. Venkat Prbahu’s close pal and producer SPB Charan is acting in’Saroja.’ Premji Amaran and Siva from’Chennai 600028′ are also in the film. Venkat Prabhu will handle the story, screenplay, dialogs and direction and production is by S. Aruna Maheshwari.
The launch of the movie is happening tomorrow (Dec 5) at the Hotel Green Park in chennai. The invitation for this event is a table top calendar, featuring the visuals of the photo session of the movie on one side and the monthly calendar on the other side says it all about the extent of creativeness that is going to be seen in the movie. Some of the photos picturise Prakash Raj in a different get up. Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja is featured in a page, promising you a youthful musical.
The shoot of the film will start next week in Chennai.

Jilla remake of Bhageeratha a Telugu film. Ravi Teja and Shriya are in the lead roles. Krishna Lanka is an island in Godari districts. The only way of commuting to that island is by boats. Lots of people die due to bad whether conditions while they travel. Krishna Lanka’s President Bullebbai (Vijay Kumar) wants to have a bridge to that island which costs several crores. He asks his IAS friend Venkata Ratnam (Prakash Raj) to make his dream come true. Even 20 years after Venkata Ratnam leaving the village, there is no news about the bridge. Bullebbai sends his son Chandu (Ravi Teja) to Hyderabad to meet Venkata Ratnam and know the progress. After coming to Hyderabad, Chandu realizes that Venkata Ratnam is very money-minded and is least bothered about bridge. The rest of the story is all about how Chandu makes Venkata Ratnam get the bridge approved by the government.

Hot actress Nila will share screen with hottest Namitha in Jagan Mohini. Jagan Mohini, the remake of yesteryear’s blockbuster starred by Jayamalini, went to floors amidst fanfare in Madurai recently. Ninety per cent of this movie was made by Jeeva sir. I completed the remaining ten per cent. Although, he wasn’t there, everything has been made according to his taste."
Jayam Ravi plays the lead in the movie with Kangana Ranaut and Lakshmi Rai.
