Silambarasan’s ‘Kaalai’ is on the brink of completion and is likely to hit the circles this Pongal. This Tharun Gopi directed action thriller boasts to be a commercial cakewalk.
Silambarasan who dons the lead role in the film, hasn’t just curbed him to acting only and had rather gone ahead to pen as well as croon out a song for it.
In this spicy potboiler, Silambarasan plays a character called Jeeva who faultily gets placed in the middle of all wrongdoings. How he tackles and upsurges out of the muddy pit forms the tale.
The actor who disappeared for sometime after his last release ‘Vallavan’ states that he took sometime off from films as he wanted his next project to be more grand than his previous ones.
Silambarasan also announces, “Kettavan which has been temporarily halted will resume this March. I would be directing the movie. A song would be recorded for the world renowned OSO Studios in London. It would be shot featuring Namitha with 100 junior artistes. We are planning to use only Indian musical instruments for recording the song.”
His next venture ‘Silambattam’ by Saravanan is all set to hit the floors. Shreya has been paired opposite him in this flick that will have its music by the young musician Dhina.
